Family Friendly Resorts in Orlando
Amongst the many family friendly resorts to choose from in Orlando here are 3 of our favorites.
If you want to skip the Disney resorts which can be a hefty chunk of change, although they are worth it, I have some budget friendly options for you that won’t disappoint.
Like any prime real estate, one thing these resorts have in common is location, location, location!
Let’s get to it, first I have a resort I believe is unlike any other you will find in Orlando because of one reason.
Rosen Plaza
The Rosen plaza in incomparable in customer service with any other resort in the area. With the thousands of people that come to Orlando each month to visit, The Rosen makes everyone feel like you’re family. The staff calls you by name, they listen to everything you say and genuinely care.
The staff is like family and that’s because the owner, Mr. Rosen, treats them as such.
Although the property is fancy, extremely clean and well kept, this hotel is not a stuffy chain line that only cares about a profit. Recently, they went all out to ensure my husband and I had a lovely Valentine’s day.
The rooms have a nostalgic look that makes you feel at home. They are spacious, clean and very comfortable.
There are plenty of food and drinks options and let me just tell you that the food is top notch. Everything is made fresh to order, even the fish and meats are received and butchered daily.
This is in a prime location near International Blvd. The heated pool and open cave like jacuzzi are certainly to please.
The Rosen Plaza is roughly 10 minutes to all the main attractions in Orlando and is right around the corner from Icon Park.

Hilton Orlando
The pool area is what sold me on this hotel. The location is also centrally located to everything near International Blvd. A matter of fact, it’s right down the street from the Rosen Plaza.
The outdoor area offers plenty to do for ages of all. As you walk through the lush, tropical garden atmosphere you will find a fire pit, basketball courts, cabana rentals, outdoor bar & restaurant.
The zero-entry swimming pool is huge and heated to a comfortable 82 degrees. There is a lazy river, jacuzzi, splash pad and slide. They also have an adult pool and jacuzzi for those who don’t want to be around the families and kids.

Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace
Besides the pool area, what sold us on this hotel stay was the walking distance to Disney Springs. You can click here to see everything Disney Springs has to offer.
The pool area is very nice, there are 2 pools, jacuzzi, wave pool & lazy river. An entertaining outdoor grass area, bar & restaurant.
They offer a morning breakfast on the weekends with the characters, which is a lot of fun! Some rooms offer balconies that allow you to see a view of the 9 p.m. Epcot firework show.

I truly hope this was helpful to you and if you decide to stay at one of these resorts, please come back through and share your experience with me!
