Bird Photo Booth
Have you heard of the bird photo booth?
Last Spring was more than welcome here in Massachusetts. It was a late spring and after a long winter, it was way overdue. Buds were sprouting and birds were chirping. Life outside was resurfacing to the barren trees. That’s when I started to admire all the beautiful birds in my backyard.
If I tried taking a photo from inside the house through the window they obviously wouldn’t come out well. But if I opened the door they would fly away. I don’t have a fancy camera or time to camp out in the trees waiting for the perfect shot.
Luckily for me, I received the Bird photo booth as a gift 🙂
Oh, I have some funny footage of birds gawking at each other as one attempts to land then flies away. Never did I ever imagine I would be so intrigued by birds. I don’t like holding birds, I would never have a bird as a pet. But they really are beautiful creatures to look at 🙂
I fell in love with the male and female cardinal. Specifically the female, but I’ve yet to get her on footage. Mated pairs often travel together and you can see that chivalry is not dead with cardinals. The male will often bring food to the female as part of their mating behavior.
As you can see, the bird photo booth has a feeder attached. When the birds land to eat, the camera senses movement and starts snapping or recording. The camera only stays charged for a couple of hours. At which point you disconnect it from the feeder, charge it and look at footage!
I hope you’ve enjoyed the show! 🙂
